Janet retired from the classroom in 2000 where she taught high school vocal music for 26 years. Her credits include directing over 20 major musicals, singing in the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, Vocal and Drama Director for Six Flags Over Mid America; St. Charles School District Teacher of the Year; St. Charles Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Distinguished Cultural Award and the Hillcrest High School Hall of Fame. She holds a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from Lindenwood University and an Honorary Doctorate from Missouri Valley College.

 

Janet is an accomplished soloist artist and has recorded with Kirby Shaw, “The Sunlight Trio” and “One Accord.”  She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Powell Hall with “The Revelation” and at the Rams, Cardinal and Show Me Believers games.

 

In the community, Janet serves on the board of directors at the St. Charles YMCA; advisory board for Old Newsboys Day and also a member of the Old Newsboys Day Hall of Fame and is a founder of the Mike Bush Fantasy Baseball Camp for the Hearing Impaired.

 

Janet is married to Ed Watkins, President of Winning Endeavors.  They have two children:  Brian who is a financial planner and partner with Sappington, Shaw and Watkins of Wells Fargo and Ashlee Watkins Johnson who is Executive Director for St. Charles Habitat for Humanity.   Grandchildren include Ellie and Drew Watkins and Anna Johnson.

Paul is an armed forces veteran serving in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1974 as Nuclear Machinist Mate on a Nuclear Submarine. Paul earned an equivalent degree in Reactor Propulsion Engineering.

After an Honorable Discharge from the Navy, Paul was a partner in Richards and Lambi Auto Repair in Denver Colorado. In 1991 Paul helped reorganize a forklift manufacturing facility in Sioux City Iowa. During this time he gained considerable experience in manufacturing, organization, management and distribution.

Paul and his wife Rose have twin daughters; Lisa and Maria, a son Nathan, eight grandchildren ages 1 to 18.  Paul moved to the Wentzville area in 1996, opened a new construction equipment sales division for Forklifts of St Louis.  He also began studying financial markets and securities.

Early in 2003 Paul resigned from Forklift City and became a Licensed Financial Advisor with the firm of Waddell & Reed Inc in St Peters, MO specializing in financial planning for businesses or individuals with a focus on estate planning and business continuation.

Paul was elected to the Wentzville Board of Alderman in April of 2001 and served a two year term.  Paul was elected as Mayor of Wentzville, April 2004 and is currently serving his third term.

In October, 2009 Paul joined Winning Endeavors as Fundraising Consultant and has recently been promoted to CEO.
